Absence

Please assist the nursery staff by advising the Nursery Manager if your child will be absent as soon as possible by telephoning 01706 344 201.

Sickness.

Any child who is suffering from an infectious disease i.e diarrhoea sickness, chickenpox, conjunctivitis or doubtful rash must not attend the nursery. We consider most children taking antibiotics as too ill to attend nursery for at least 3 days. Should your child become unwell during the course of his/her day at the nursery the parnet/carer will be contacted to make arrangements for collecting the child as soon as possible.

Medicines will only be administered to children if perscribed by their medical practitioner. The adminstration of medicine will be recorded on the medicine form to be signed by the parents/carers before it can be adminstered and the member of staff who administers it will also sign and record the date and time of adminstration.

Collection of your child

For the safety and protection of your child we request that parents and carers advice us of the nominated person or persons who will be collecting your child.

Child protection

As registered providers of day care , Seeros Day Care is required to follow procedures in accordance with the Local Area Safeguarding Protection Committee's guidlines. We also follow procedures within the department of health's Publication: - "What to do if you're worried a child is being abused".
