The Early Years foundation Stages

The overarching aim of the EYFS is to help young children achieve the five every Child Mattters outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying & achieving, making a positive contribution, and achieving econimic well-being by;

Each child within the nursery is assigned a key worker, who works closey with the child and the parents/carers of the child. In order to progress each child's development an individual child assessment and evaluation is carried out on a regular basis. These are avaliable to parents/carers to view at any time.

Monthly topic sheets are sent home explaining the theme over the following 4-6 weeks. This enables the parents/carers to feel included in their childs learning and development. We may often give suggestions of activities that can be carried out on a regular basis. These are available to parents/carers to view at any time.

Throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage the staff at the Nursery will work closely together with you to promote a positive impact to your childs
development and progress.
